As the local organizing committee, we are proud to announce the 13th Spanish-Italian Symposium on Organic Chemistry (SISOC-XIII) to be held in Tarragona from July 5-7, 2020.
The present symposium follows in the tradition of an established series of bilateral Spanish-Italian meetings, which are organised biannually by the Organic Chemistry Division of the Real Sociedad Española de Química (GEQOR) and the Società Chimica Italiana (SCI). The event fosters the exchange of experiences and information between the most important experts from the two countries, including the promotion of networks and collaborations.
The conference consists of 12 Keynote and 16 Invited Lectures, and provides opportunity for Oral and Flash Communications together with Poster Presentations. The event will take place at the Auditorium of the Seminary Building in central Tarragona.
Tarragona is located 100 km South of Barcelona at the heart of the Costa Dorada, where some of the most attractive beaches in Spain can be found. Tarragona, designated by UNESCO as a Humankind Heritage Site, also enjoys some of the best preserved Roman ruins in the Iberian Peninsula.
We look forward to welcoming you at a vibrant conference on every aspect on modern organic chemistry.
On behalf of the organizing committee,
M. Isabel Matheu – chair of the SISOC-XIII
